The FirstSpear Adaptive Cummerbund allows you to quickly swap between land and maritime cummerbunds; or change the size of your vest to wear over bulky garments without the hassle of re-adjusting your velcro set-up each time.
The Adaptive Cummerbund only works with the Instant Adjust Back Panel that is an option for the Strandhogg Plate Carrier or the Assaulter Plate Carrier.
Instead of attaching to the rear of the plate carrier with velcro; this cummerbund features a Tubes connector on the front and the back. The rear Tube can be moved from one attachment to the other as the mission dictates.
The body side of the Cummerbund has been modified to allow the attachment of Ragnar pockets so that magazines and other items can be held close to the body making for an even more streamlined silhouette. This feature is particularly attractive for users trying to carry more magazines than traditional front-loading will allow.
Level IIIA Soft Armor Inserts can be added inside this cummerbund (sold separately).
6/12™ material on the outside allows any MOLLE pouch or specially designed FirstSpear 6/12 modular pouches to be attached.
FirstSpear 6/12™
The FirstSpear 6/12™ technology eliminates the webbing and stitching components of traditional modular load bearing designs. The 6/12 platform will work with any MOLLE pockets (just like any other laser-cut MOLLE), but the 6/12 pouches will only mount to 6/12 Platform. The 6/12™ Pocket Attachment System uses state of the art fabric technologies to deliver a completely modular system. This system achieves a 20%-40% reduction in weight per standard Assaulter configuration when compared to traditional MOLLE pockets.
