ATS Cobra 2.6 Pack

The ATS Cobra 2.6 is a slick-front low-vis one day assault pack. The Cobra Pack was designed to be a less "military" looking pack but still retain the ruggedness and many of the capabilities of a full-fledged military pack. The 2.6 variant differs from 2.5 only in the addition of a shock cord matrix that has been added to the face to allow for rapid stowage of lightweight items like jackets, wobbie, ect.

The pack measures 19" tall by 13" wide and 3" deep; giving approximately 15 Liters (927 cubic inches) of cargo capacity. The Cobra Pack is a lightweight pack; weighing only 2 pounds.

Inside the pack, brushed DriLex lines the front and back panel to allow attachment of any Velcro organizer (like the ATS CAP or Vertx Tactigami pouches). A hydration carrier slot is featured on the back face (this rear pocket can fit either a hydration reservoir or an ATS Frame Sheet). A port for drink tubes and cable routing is centered on the top of the pack. The carry handle is Box X sewn to the top (it's not going anywhere) and there are two rows of PALS webbing on the bottom for attaching MOLLE pouches.

The zippers on this pack are the best available: #10 YKK coil zippers with dual zipper pulls. The front face flat pocket also uses a YKK zipper (#8 YKK coil zipper with a single zipper pull). The pull tabs on all of the zippers have been replaced with Mil Spec 550 cord to keep metal-on-metal noise to a minimum.

The face of this pack zips all the way around to open completely. In addition to the zipper, the pack is secured by four external compression straps that each have an ITW/Nexus 1" GTSR side release buckle. This pack can be compressed to magnify its load carrying ability.
