FirstSpear Strandhogg V1 MBAV Body Armor

The FirstSpear Strandhögg MBAV Cut Body Armor is easily tailored for comfort, ventilation, and fit. It utilizes a time proven ballistic footprint that affords the user more pocket attachment area than designs that are cut edge-to-edge. It can be worn with or without soft armor panels (depending on your ballistic requirements, threat conditions, and the type of hard armor plate you have).

The Strandhögg MBAV uses the Overlap Cummerbund that provides additional overlapping soft armor at the front side of the Body Armor where the Tubes closure system meets. The additional soft armor tucks in behind the Tubes allowing full opening and closing of the vest (soft armor inserts for the cummerbund are optional and sold seperately).

Available with or without NIJ Category IIIA.06 soft armor ballistic inserts.

Maximizing the lightweight 6/12 technology and rapid closure systems provided by the Tubes, the MBAV Cut Body Armor can be rapidly donned or doffed. On the exterior of the front panel, rear panel, and cummerbund; a field of 6/12 allows for easy pocket attachment.
