The modular design of the Mayflower Side Flap Radio Pouch allows the end user to insert the VELCRO panel directly into the front flap of a Body Armor (between the front flap and cummerbund); or into the side envelope pocket of the Mission Configurable Chest Rig (MCCR) or Mission Configurable Placard (MCP).
Using the Radio flap allows the user to use their existing MOLLE real estate for other purposes or it provides a different kind of mounting option for your radio if MOLLE is not available.
This lightweight versatile radio pouch holds an MBITR AN/PRC-148, Harris AN/PRC-152 Radio, or similar sized radio. It is offered in right or left to accommodate the end user preference.
